Script Network, SingularityNET and Stacks Bring Practical Solutions to Real-World Issues

A leading analytics firm reveals that hundreds of trillions of Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens are now in the safekeeping of holders with a long-term investment horizon.
IntoTheBlock shows that hodlers, or entities that have held their SHIB stacks for over a year, collectively own 687,170,000,000,000 SHIB worth over $7.20 billion.

According to the analytics firm, the investor cohort controls nearly 70% of Shiba Inu’s circulating supply.
IntoTheBlock also shows that cruisers, or market participants that have been holding their Shiba Inu troves for a period of one to 12 months, own 232,540,000,000,000 SHIB worth more than $2.43 billion. According to the intelligence firm, cruisers account for 23.65% of SHIB’s supply.
As for traders, or entities who hold their Shiba Inu for less than one month, IntoTheBlock reveals that they currently control 63,550,000,000,000 SHIB to the tune of $666.63 million. Traders also own 6.46% of SHIB’s supply, per the intelligence firm.

IntoTheBlock also reveals that only 28% of SHIB holders are making money at Shiba Inu’s current price, with 68% sitting on losses. About 4% of SHIB owners are just breaking even.
At time of writing, SHIB is trading for $0.00001049, a slight increase in the last 24 hours. Shiba Inu remains down over 87% from its all-time high of $0.00008616, which it printed in October 2021.

Bitcoin initiated yet another leg up in the past 24 hours, resulting in nearing $28,000 for the first time since June 2022.
The altcoins are also well in the green, with ETH reclaiming $1,800, while SOL, UNI, AVAX, and ETC have skyrocketed by up to 14%.
BTC Taps Yet Another 9-Month High
The US banking crisis, which later expanded to Europe as well, harmed bitcoin’s price performance at the end of last week as the asset tumbled below $20,000 for the first time in two months. However, the landscape started to change with the start of the new week.
Bitcoin began adding a couple of grand daily, which resulted in breaking above $26,000 on Tuesday. After its initial retracement to $24,000, the cryptocurrency went on a roll once again on Thursday and Friday.
The past 24 hours brought yet another price surge. This time, BTC spiked above $27,000 and even came inches away from tapping $28,000. This became its highest price tag since June 2022.
Despite failing to reclaim that level and dropping by a few hundred dollars, bitcoin is still north of $27,000 and is up by 4.5% on the day. Its market capitalization has touched $530 billion, while its dominance over the altcoins sits just above 45%.

Stacks, Conflux, Mask Network Steal the Show
The altcoins have also charted impressive gains, led by the largest one. ETH has jumped by over 5% in the past 24 hours alone and reclaimed $1,800 for the first time in months.
Binance Coin, Ripple, Cardano, MATIC, Dogecoin, Polkadot, Shiba Inu, and Litecoin have added up to 5% in a day. More gains come from the likes of Solana, Avalanche, Uniswap, LEO, and Ethereum Classic. ETC has soared by more than 13% on a daily scale.
Nevertheless, the most substantial price increases come from lower-cap alts. Mask Network, Conflux, MAGIC, dYdX, and Stacks have skyrocketed by 20% to 45% in a day. STX, CFX, and MASK are up by triple digits on a weekly scale.
With all of those gains, it’s no wonder that the crypto market cap has added another $40 billion in a day and stands at $1.170 trillion.

Bitcoin’s rollercoaster of around $23,000 and $24,000 continues, as the asset bounced off the former to tap the latter once again in the past 24 hours.
Most altcoins have also turned green today, and, somewhat expectedly, as of late, STX has stolen the show.
BTC Touched $24K (Again)
Last week saw BTC try its hand at taking down $25,000 a few times but to no avail. The asset’s inability to overcome that line pushed it south hard, especially after the US PCE data came out for January on Friday.
This resulted in an 11-day low at under $22,800 during the weekend. However, bitcoin began to recover some ground at the start of the working week and pumped to $23,800 on Monday.
Despite being stopped there and driven back down to $23,000 hours later, the cryptocurrency initiated another leg up hours ago. In this one, BTC skyrocketed by around $1,000 and touched $24,000.
Yet, it was unable to conquer that level and now sits just a few hundred dollars below it. Its market capitalization has increased to $460 billion, and its dominance over the alts is at 42.4%.

STX Keeps the Rally Going
The hype around the Ordinals NFT, based on Bitcoin, turned Stacks, due to its relationship with the Gamma marketplace, into one of the best performers for the past few weeks. This trend was only solidified in the last 24 hours, as STX soared by another 16% and even exceeded $1 earlier today to register its highest price tag since the end of April 2022.
Aptos is another notable gainer on a 24-hour scale, having surged by 8.5% and trading at $13.
The rest of the larger-cap alts are also in the green, albeit with more modest gains. Ethereum, Binance Coin, Ripple, OKB, Cardano, Dogecoin, Polygon, Solana, Polkadot, and Shiba Inu have all increased by up to 3% in a day.
The total crypto market cap has added $20 billion daily but still sits just under $1.1 trillion on CMC.

Stacks (STX) surges as Bitcoin NFT hype grows, but its blockchain activity raises concern

One of the hottest altcoins on the crypto market may have more room to run, according to a closely followed trader.
Pseudonymous trader Cantering Clark says that Stacks (STX), a project meant to boost the utility of Bitcoin (BTC), could be due for a short squeeze based on how much open interest is building up on the coin.

The trader tells his 161,000 Twitter followers that STX, which is already up 217% in the last 30 days, is likely due for a squeeze to the upside, but notes that high open interest hasn’t always signaled legs up.
“STX funding is -.21 on Bybit right now.
First line of thinking might be that since OI [open interest] is up aggressively with this it is due for a squeeze. Same logic with APT (Aptos) occurred but the ridiculous funding marked the high.
Sellers ate all buying, no squeeze came.
Worst case scenario whoever is selling loses their average price.
So breaking $1 would be pretty bad.”
At time of writing, STX is trading at $0.92, up 24% in the last 24 hours.
Cantering Clark is also watching DYDX, the token that powers popular decentralized crypto exchange (DEX) Dydx.
According to him, DYDX could be in the midst of a quick consolidation phase before a rally to new local highs. He shares a chart suggesting that DYDX has bounced off of strong support near the $2.80 level and is heading up through a downward trend line.
“Want to see DYDX really start to push here if this level is just a pit stop before continuation.
So far it looks really good and is one of the strongest pairs today.”

Altcoin That Exploded 217% This Month May Be Due for Another Rally, Says Top Trader

Bitcoin dipped below $23,000 to mark a multi-week low but managed to bounce off rather quickly and has reclaimed that level.
Most altcoins sit quietly once again, aside from Stacks. STX has taken full advantage of the Ordinals hype and has soared to almost $1.
Bitcoin Back Above $23K
Following the three unsuccessful attempts to decisively overcome $25,000 last week, bitcoin headed south and slipped to $24,000 at the end of it. Things took another turn for the worse on Friday when the US PCE data came out, suggesting a 0.6% increase since January.
Bitcoin reacted with an instant price drop to $23,000. It dipped further during the weekend to $22,800 (on Bitstamp), which became its lowest price tag since February 15.
The low trading volumes on Sunday meant that BTC remained calm at around $23,000. The bulls finally stepped up hours ago by pushing BTC to over $22,600. Despite retracing by a few hundred dollars since then, the asset still stands well above $23,000, and its market cap has climbed above $450 billion.

STX Keeps Going
It’s safe to say that the relationship between Stacks and the Gamma marketplace has paid a lot of dividends for the former ever since the emergence of the Ordinals NFTs on top of the Bitcoin network. STX has become one of the best performers lately, and the past 24 hours only solidified that narrative.
The asset is up by more than 23% on a daily scale and came inches away from tapping $1 earlier today.
The rest of the altcoins are a lot calmer yet again. Ethereum managed to defend $1,600, and a 1.7% increase has pushed it well above that line. Binance Coin sits north of $300 following a minor daily climb.
In contrast, Ripple, Cardano, Polygon, Dogecoin, Solana, and Polkadot are slightly in the red.
Nevertheless, the total crypto market cap has remained under $1.1 trillion on CMC despite adding $10 billion in a day.

The investor who accurately called the bottom of the crypto bear market says that 2,200% gains could be in store for one trending altcoin.
Chris Burniske, partner at venture capital firm Placeholder, says that Stacks (STX), a project aiming to boost the utility of Bitcoin (BTC), has a lot more upside potential than people realize.

Burniske says in a Twitter thread that while Ethereum’s (ETH) layer-2 ecosystem has attracted swaths of new capital and interest, Bitcoin has so far lagged behind in that respect due to market participants giving up on making the flagship blockchain programmable.
However, Burniske says that Bitcoin’s layer-2 ecosystem may be close to having its moment, and with little competition, STX may reap the benefits.
“Because people gave up on Bitcoin programmability, Stacks has little competition, whereas competition amongst Ethereum L2s is stiff. Meanwhile, the largest layer-2 on Ethereum is MATIC, which at $12.4B fully-diluted network-value (FD NV) is 6.4% of ETH’s NV.
STX is worth $1.36B FD NV, or 0.28% of BTC’s NV. A repricing to be on par with MATIC’s relative valuation to its layer-1 would imply a ~23X, and that doesn’t take into account Bitcoin appreciation.”
At time of writing, STX is trading at $0.932, up 238% this month.

Venture Capitalist Says 2,200% Gains Possible for One Crypto Asset, Names Dogecoin Among Interesting Altcoins

After falling by roughly $1,000 and marking a multi-week low beneath $23,000, bitcoin has calmed and sits at just over that line amid low trading volumes.
The altcoins are also quiet today, given the trading volumes, aside from the likes of Stacks and Lido Dao, both of which are up by impressive percentages.
Bitcoin Flat at $23K
Bitcoin tried its hand at taking down $25,000 three times in the past 10 days or so, with the most notable surge coming in the middle of last week as it shot up by $3,500 on Thursday.
The volatility only increased as BTC slipped to under $23,500 shortly after, while the latest attempt at $25,000 came on February 21. Bitcoin briefly jumped above that line but was rejected quickly and fell back down to $23,500.
Following another price pump to $24,600, the US PCE data came out, and bitcoin dropped by almost $1,000 in hours. Thus, it dumped to a 10-day low of $22,800 (on Bitstamp).
The cryptocurrency has recovered some ground and sits inches above $23,000. Its market cap is close to $450 billion, while its dominance over the altcoins is calm at 42.2%.

STX Steals the Show
One of the best performers in the past several weeks has been Stacks because of its relationship with the much-hyped NFT ordinals on the Bitcoin network. STX had skyrocketed by 160% on a weekly scale a few days ago, and there were predictions that it could continue its way up until it becomes a multi-billion dollar token.
The past 24 hours have brought another impressive increase of 12% that has pushed STX to over $0.75.
LDO is the other notable gainer on a daily scale, being up by 6% and trading close to $3.
The rest of the larger-cap alts are calmer. Ethereum sits still at $1,600, while Ripple, Cardano, Polygon, Dogecoin, Solana, Polkadot, and Shiba Inu are with small daily losses.
Overall, though, the cumulative market cap has remained still at $1.060 trillion.

Over the last month, Stacks (STX) has been on a tremendous rally. The coin emerged as one of the top gainers, rallying upwards even at a time when the broader crypto market was suffering from low momentum. Even now, the cryptocurrency continues to trade in the green, but what’s driving these gains?
Bitcoin Ordinals Supercharge Stacks
By now, most, if not all, of the crypto industry participants have heard of Bitcoin Ordinals. These Bitcoin NFTs that came with the taproot upgrade allowed for inscriptions on the blockchain. And just like any ‘new’ development in the crypto space, the value of these bitcoin ordinals NFTs surged rapidly.

Stacks (STX) which is a project that is working toward bringing the full functionality of decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), decentralized applications (DApps), and smart contracts to the Bitcoin blockchain was uniquely positioned to benefit from this newfound popularity.
The popularity of Ordinals saw attention shifted to Stacks for those who wanted to play the cryptocurrency narrative. As a result, Stacks’ price is up by almost 200% in the last month alone. The majority of these gains were actually recorded in the last week as multiple large buys were recorded for Ordinals.
In the last seven days, the price of STX is seeing gains of over 150%. The coin has also rallied on the 24-hour chart with more than 32% gains to bring its price above $0.85.


Can STX Continue To Rally?
The Stacks (STX) rally coincides with a time when NFTs seem to be making a comeback in the market. This is propelled further by the fierce rivalry between the Blur and OpenSea NFT marketplaces, so the month of February has been incredibly bullish for STX.
When it comes to the question of whether STX will continue on its rally, it could all depend on the market movements. Bitcoin is currently still trending below the $25,000 resistance level. So with such low momentum, the broader crypto market is already seeing a slowdown.

STX on one hand may be resisting this slowdown, but once the expected correction happens, then it is possible the cryptocurrency will fall in line with the other digital assets in the space. When this happens, it could put an end to the daily double-digit gains for the asset.
On the flip side, if something were to trigger another rush toward Bitcoin Ordinals, or maybe Bitcoin DeFi, then STX stands to gain more than any other asset. In this case, the rally is expected to continue, and the $1 price level floats into view.

Stacks (STX) Rallies 150%, What’s Driving The Price?

STX – the native token of the Stacks network – has soared by a whopping 160% in the past seven days. 
One possible reason behind the significant surge could be the connection between the asset and one of the recent trends in the cryptocurrency space – the Bitcoin NFTs through the Ordinals protocol.
The financial services platform – Matrixport – predicted that STX could rally even more in the near future. The primary reason is the rapidly increasing number of newly-minted ordinals. 
STX Price Explodes 160% in a Week
STX – the native cryptocurrency of the Stacks network that brings smart contracts and decentralized apps to Bitcoin – has skyrocketed by nearly 160% in the last week and over 180% in the past month (according to CoinGecko data). It currently trades at approximately $0.87, a valuation last reached in May 2022. 
The Stacks blockchain (formerly known as Blockstacks) is a layer 1 blockchain that uses the Proof-of-Transfer (PoX) consensus algorithm. It allows users to validate transactions by holding and staking bitcoin. Once BTC gets transferred, the user is able to mine Stacks blocks and earn STX tokens as a reward.
The network also enables digital asset ownership and is a necessary condition for people willing to trade ordinals on the Gamma marketplace. The venue offers a variety of bitcoin NFTs and is a social platform that brings together collectors and creators of such art. This is likely to be one of the main reasons for STX’s increase in price.
Some of the top collections on Gamma in the last month are BNS: Bitcoin Name System, Megapont Ape Club, Satoshibles, Bitcoin Birds, and Bitcoin Monkeys. The first comprises over 240,000 items, generating a trading volume of more than $750,000 at today’s prices.
The Ordinals Hype
The Ordinals Protocol has recently built on the utility of the Bitcoin network and gave birth to a massive trend. It allows developers to create and store digital artifacts directly on the BTC blockchain. 
The newly minted ordinals per day surged from a few hundred in late January to over 20,000 on February 9. During the past few days, the figure has dropped below 10,000. However, there are currently over 150,000 inscriptions already, showcasing the quick growth of the sector.
Fees spend inscribing ordinals have also headed north, hitting over $150K a week ago.
A few days ago, someone traded their original CryptoPunk for an Ordinal Punk, triggering additional buzz in the community. Both collections had a floor price of over $100,000.
Coincidence or not, the price of the primary cryptocurrency has also gone into green territory ever since the ordinals entered the space. BTC now trades at around $24,000. Moreover, their emergence pushed the number of non-zero bitcoin addresses beyond 44 million for the first time in the protocol’s 14-year history.
Will Stacks (STX) Price Soar Further?
According to the Singaporean crypto investment firm, ordinals could turn STX into a “new multi-billion dollar token.” It described them as the “latest hype” in the industry, while the fact that they are minted directly on the Bitcoin blockchain offers “greater permanence and immutability on the distributed ledger.”
Unlike traditional non-fungible tokens, ordinals cannot be altered by smart contract developers, providing additional transparency and security. 
Matrixport also outlined that the Stacks network allows users to lock up their STX tokens and earn rewards of up to 10% APY paid in BTC. 
“With its ability to leverage the bitcoin blockchain’s security for settlement of transactions, Stacks is well-positioned to develop Bitcoin DeFi. As the full potential of the Stacks Network is recognized, it may fuel the STX token rally even further,” the company concluded.

A Bitcoin-focused crypto asset is in the midst of a powerful price jump as the overall digital asset markets continue to turn green.
Stacks (STX) is a layer-1 blockchain that aims to boost the utility of Bitcoin (BTC) by enabling smart contracts, decentralized finance (DeFi) activity, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and other applications to the flagship cryptocurrency.

Early on Sunday, Chris Burniske, who accurately called the bottom of the crypto market in November, said that while Ethereum (ETH) has massive amounts of layer-2 projects on it, Bitcoin so far only has two big projects.
He names Stacks and Lightning, Bitcoin’s most popular payments sidechain network.
“A plethora of highly valued L2 competition on Ethereum, while Bitcoin really only has Stacks and Lightning in the general-purpose L2 race (thus far).”
Hours later, Stacks’ native token STX exploded roughly 110% in less than a day, running from $0.35 to $0.77.
Burniske soon acknowledged the rally and said that his firm held STX as an investment.
“Repricing of overlooked opportunities happens fast in crypto… And yes, we hold STX.”

At time of writing, STX has corrected to the $0.57 range, currently with a market cap of $781 million.
Burniske, partner at venture capital firm Placeholder and former ARK Invest executive, previously called for several narratives to drive the next crypto bull market.
The crypto veteran said,
“Obvious hype themes into next expansion:
1) bridging and multi-chain services
2) AI meets blockchain
3) appchains and sector-chains”
Burniske also mentioned data availability layers or systems that store and provide consensus on the availability of data on a blockchain.
The former ARK Invest analyst clarified what he means by a “hype theme.”
“Given how some are responding, I should clarify that a ‘hype theme’ is a theme experiencing its first major cycle in the limelight. It’ll have some very real protocols pursuing the opportunity, as well as many other ‘grifter protocols’ slipstreaming the theme.”

Altcoin Built to Boost Bitcoin Explodes As Veteran Crypto Investor Says Overlooked Opportunities Await

In a late Sunday dip, bitcoin dropped below $24,000 but managed to recover most losses and currently sits over $24,500 once more.
Solana has soared the most from the larger-cap altcoins, while Stacks has neared the top 50 following a massive 50% surge.
Bitcoin’s Up and Down Weekend Movement
The primary cryptocurrency had dropped all the way down to $21,500 in the middle of last week before it exploded by double digits in a day and soared to a six-month high above $25,000. This was somewhat surprising, given the regulatory scrutiny coming from the United States.
However, the volatility was not yet over, as the asset fell to $23,400 hours later. It began to recover value shortly after, spiking to $25,000 once again.
Although bitcoin had calmed slightly by the time the weekend came, it initiated another leg up to $25,000. As it happened with the previous attempt, though, the bears stepped up and didn’t allow any further increases.
Just the opposite, they pushed BTC south to $23,850 (on Bitstamp) on Sunday evening. Nevertheless, BTC bounced off from that line and now sits close to $25,000.
Its market cap is inches above $475 billion, but its dominance over the alts is slightly down on the day to 42.2%.

Stacks Steps Up
The Ordinals NFTs are among the hottest topics in the cryptocurrency community as of late and is somewhat expected that projects related in a way to them will explode in value. This is the case with Stacks today, which has skyrocketed by over 50% to well above $0.6.
Solana has stolen the show from the larger-cap alts, registering a massive 12% increase that has pushed it beyond $26. Shiba Inu, Tron, Avalanche, and Uniswap have all increased by up to 5% in a day.
Ethereum, Binance Coin, Ripple, Cardano, OKB, Dogecoin, and Polkadot are also in the green, albeit in a more modest fashion.
VET, BCH, and SAND have jumped the most from the mid-cap alts. Overall, the crypto market cap has remained above $1.1 trillion after a minor daily increase.

We’re big fans of Walkabout Mini Golf as it has developed into one of VR’s best reasons to put on a headset. Developers continue building out a rapidly growing collection of available courses but,  when it launched in late 2020, the game had just four of them and Seagull Stacks was one with its rocky terrain and birds flying overhead.
Seagull Stacks joined Tourist Trap, Cherry Blossom, and Arizona Modern as Walkabout Mini Golf’s launch lineup. Four more free courses from developer Mighty Coconut have been added to the core game since then — Original Gothic, Bogey’s Bonanza, Tethys Station, and Quixote Valley. A collection of paid DLC add-ons continues to grow as well, with licensed courses for Jim Henson’s Labyrinth and Cyan’s Myst as well as collections themed after famous Lost Cities and Jules Vernes’s iconic science fiction works. Atlantis is the next course from Mighty Coconut and we know Journey To The Center Of The Earth and Around The World In 80 Days are in the works too. In addition, the studio is already working on courses that won’t launch until 2024, with future add-ons now priced $3.99 each to keep pace with a larger development effort.
Seagull Stacks Walkabout Mini Golf Course Tour

Lucas Martell and other members of the Mighty Coconut team have been giving us tours of each Walkabout’s course as they talk through the process of developing their standout VR work. With Seagull Stacks now live, you can now walk through the launch lineup of Tourist Trap, Cherry Blossom, and Arizona Modern. Each tour offers insight into how the developers built the course from inspirations and challenges to the tools they used in its design.
With Seagull Stacks, Martell explained how the course sees players ascending across the front nine holes before descending down the back nine. The overall layout teases players with big reveals and relaxing vistas, allowing players to peer down at their upcoming path or look up from below at a gigantic bridge. The course also features the game’s first weather effects — just simple little square snowflakes falling around you — as well as its first wildlife in the form of seagulls soaring overhead.
We’re building a full collection of tours of every Walkabout course with its designers. The playlist embedded below will grow as we add more courses in what amounts to an in-depth overview of design progression in one of VR’s best games.
“It really just breathes a lot of life into a course just to have even a couple of birds flying around,” Martell says. “When we added the ability to fly (just point your putter straight up and push the thumb stick forward and you’ll take off) if you go into the settings menu locomotion speed also affects how fast you fly. We kept coming back to this course because I think we actually set it up five meters per second as the max speed. But that got you just a little bit past the point where you could keep up with every single seagull. It was just so much fun to just fly in formation with the seagulls as they’re winding around all the seagull stacks. That’s actually why that upper limit is set where it’s at.”
